A Day in the Life

Hello, my name is Marcus Licinius Crassus. I would like to tell you all about what type of things I could do during a day in my life. There are so many different things that I could do each and every day. My childhood as a kid in Rome was very good. My father, Publius Licinius Crassus Dives was an important man in Rome. He had great political power, and was once the consul of Rome. This meant that my two brothers and I had great education as kids. My childhood was a great time in my life. Now that I am older, one of my favorite things to do is going to the Colosseum. While I am there, I love to watch all of the gladiator fights because I am also in the military and love combat. It is always entertaining no matter what is going on there. Another thing that is important to me is my house. Since I am thought of as the richest person in Roman history, my house is very big and luxurious. There is always something fun to do, especially with his wife Licinia. Since I am very rich, I also loved to hold huge feasts for all of my friends and family. It is very fun, and I enjoy it very much. Another thing that I do during my life is being involved with the government. I take regular trips to the Forum and do a lot of speaking there since I have been the consul of Rome twice. Making my way to the Forum very often is also very difficult. The streets of Rome are always very crowded and there are many things that go on in them. As you have now seen, my day in the life in Rome is very busy, but also very enjoyable.
