Hello everybody. It is now the year 73 B.C. I am a very happy person. I just defeated a slave revolt in Capua that was led by Spartacus. It is a great accomplishment, and a great victory for my soldiers. I am very excited to see what will happen next.
Friend Request, Hey Marcus, It is Gaius Marius and I think we would be great friends because we both have served as high ranked officers in the Roman Military.

I accept your friend request. Even though we weren't really friends, we still have many things in common.

Description: In this secondary source, it tells about how Marcus was very well educated while he was a kid because his dad was a consul. As a kid, they supported Sulla, and were enemies of Marius. Marcus became very rich from the Roman Fire Brigade. Crassus also ruled Rome in a triumvirate with Caesar and Pompey from 59 B.C. till his death in 53 B.C.
Friend Request, Crassus, I think I could be your "friend" even though you destroyed my slave revolt.

I defeated your army once and I could do it again if most of my slaves had stayed with me and not gone to Gaul.
ReplyDeleteSpartacus, I believe my great-great grandson fought as one of your 200 slaves, I am very proud of him, and know he was under a great influence.
ReplyDeleteCrassus, how did you know Spartacus was hiding in the Alps?
